This is such a cool saying that I feel like doesn’t get its day. How often do we explain that we have had our fill, whether of good or bad, so plainly?
Having enough is a beautiful thing to admit to, it can also be an exhausting one…
There are days when I feel all of my emotional energy is completely spent and somehow I think it’s a failing on my part when I can’t keep going. It’s a pretty strong thing to admit when you e met your limit, you don’t have to push yourself to the point of self destruction to keep up with some arbitrary goalpost.
It’s okay to admit you’ve had enough, you don’t need to continue asking for more, or asking more of yourself.

58We spend so much of our lives thinking that our existence has to be earned or worthy of others, that it has to be approved or accepted in order to be real or of value - this isn’t the case.
Your life is valuable inherently (despite what people think) you don’t have to earn that. And you certainly don’t need someone else saying so.
I have been told “no” more times than I can count, or that the things I want to pursue are foolish or “not a good idea”. Well here I am. And here you are.

Your value, worth, purpose [fill in the blank here] is never lessened by anyone else’s inability to see it.
