On the anniversary of my fatherās passing, I signed my trust & it became official. She became a life-long wealth builder. Let me explainā¦
I used to see the wealthy clients I served on Wall Street pass down money to their kidsā kids. I dreamt of being that way, but how? I didnāt have children & I had $80,000 of student loan debt and no money.
I struggled as an entrepreneur in the beginning, but the day my niece was born, a light bulb went off. I didnāt want her to struggle like me. I didnāt want her to borrow money, to go to college, like me. She deserved more, so I started investing for her - each month with just $35.
Fast forward 6 years, I lost my Dad. It broke me, and also made me! I saw my father turn myself & siblings into generational wealth āreceiversā, and I wanted to do the same.
I took his wealth builderās mind one step further, and I decided to open the Fox Legacy Trust.
I took all my assets, life insurance, bank accounts, company holdings, and moreā¦and built a long-lastingā¦get paid for the rest of your life plan for my niece.
ā¦and one of the easiest ways to ensure the money I left behind never ran out...was to ensure the money gets invested in dividend-paying stocks & REITs.
So, while I am here, I am investing for her. However, the trust will take care of her if I am not.
I started with $35, but with my wor

I am living my dream lifeā¦but no one talks about the mourning that comes with building a fast-growing business. You are in a constant state of letting go of what was for what could be.
Itās hard - all the time. You cry and get overwhelmed - all the time. You feel lost - all the time. You are in a state of discomfort - all the time.
Everyday things are changing, and I canāt predict anything. 95% of my life in business is unfamiliar, and as soon as I have a clarity - something changes and I lose it again.
Itās like Iāve worked so hard to become the Ashley I am today, and now I have to let her go, so that I can become what could be.
The business is growing all at once, but Iām learning what canāt grow, all at once, is the team.
Sometimes I wake up and ask myself āwhat is my job?ā I have never-ending to do list and life is spraying a fire hose at me daily.
The upside isā¦we grow. We make a bunch of money. We win awards. We get publicityā¦.and more!
ā¦but if Iām being honestā¦I am in the season of HARD, and I have to stop resisting it.
I am now leaning into it. I am accepting it. @empify is the biggest opportunity that I have had, and I have more audacious dreams to achieve.
So, if this is your season of hard, hereās the pep talk I give myself daily.

Playing golf with business owners talking about our companies, putting out fires everyday, our revenue targets, how fast we grew, and more.
I used to dream of being in these rooms, and here I am talking about millions while playing golf in Palm Springs.

P.S. I look like a golf player, but I donāt play like one š This is my 2nd time playing golf (if we donāt count miniature golf š) and I did alright. They gave me some coaching though

I went from having no money, no home, and $80,000 in debt to building a multi-million dollar business that has grown 712% in the past 3 years.
