39On Sunday, hundreds of children with special needs, their parents, and volunteers celebrated the happiness of Chanukah at CARE’s 4th annual Hanukkah carnival at @yofhs
Children entered jumping as they walked the hallway lined with a gigantic CARE coloring wallpaper to color. 🖍️ Magician stilt walkers greeted them at the huge balloon arch and the DJ got the kids dancing and singing with all their energy!! 💃 🪩
The day was filled with fun, arcade games, bubble show, puppy party, face painting, lots of gift giving, donuts, pizza, cotton candy, and ended off with an auction to win more prizes which made the day truly unforgettable. 🎁🧸🍕🍩🐶
Huge smiles sprawled across their faces as they took a look at the endless amount of tables filled with all the toys and games they ever dreamed of!
It was a magical moment to watch a child win a Nintendo switch they never dreamt of calling their own, or a set of speakers so badly wished for.
The highlight of the event was when children that are unable to communicate were handed an iPad that they can use as a communication device. This is life changing as it allows them to communicate effectively.
The energy that filled the room was truly heartwarming as many wishes came true.
