Now it hasn't been easy to say the least, but I've proven to myself that i'm a lot more capable than I think, and that hard work does in fact pay off. First off I would like to thank God and all he's done for me. I also heavily want to thank my parents and my friends for their endless support and encouragement. I want to thank my roommates who I quite literally met off a facebook page and who have now practically became my sisters. This place has brought me so many friendships, experiences, memories and opportunities and will continue to do so as the years go on.
I'm also grateful to be attending college next year and to continue to grow as I set up for my upcoming future. I remember first experiencing the ocean when I was younger and growing up with a dream to be near the water, and when I first went to Florida it immediately felt like where I was meant to be. Just wanted to come on here to express some gratitude for this past year since I graduated highschool. If you had told me senior year that I had moved out of my parents house at 18 years old and moved halfway across the country alone I would have laughed in your face. (Trust me, multiple people did originally when I told them that was my plan.) For a girl whose card got declined at Starbucks and couldn't keep more than $20 in her bank account even I was doubtful when it came to moving here.
