This the face of a 28 yr old, born and raised in Austria. In 2014 I went on a gap year to the US as an AuPair. Well… the rest is history. Now I‘m living in a Dutch world, and if I‘m not working on @mended.eu, I‘m eating my bodyweight in mushroompasta. 🍄
I like telling stories, but I suck at writing. Videos are my thing. Always have been. 10 yrs ago I uploaded my first YouTube video. I Loved it. Weirdly enough, Others did too. Yes, I say weirdly cause those early videos are so crappy. 😂
Then came the plot twist: 3 years later I stopped. Instead I did two things #1 I cared too much what people might think of my stuff. #2 I was convinced that I had to grow up and do ‚something serious now‘.
They all say ‘things happen for a reason’ but it’s been one (of my two) key regrets in my little life. I know… so dramatic Agnes (slide 2 🙃) I had Friends like @losaloviisa who kicked me in my dramaqueen-ass when I needed it the most.
She said I had to choose:
either get a ‘no regarts’ tattoo, or finally get back to the thing you love the most.
I love noticing little things that aren’t little. Sometimes it’s dogs on bikes. Sometimes it’s a FaceTime call in the fridge. Sometimes it’s the hidden feeling of guilt from living abroad & saying I’ll be back ‘soon’.
It’s ordinary stuff, but by turning it into videos, I need it to be so
