Alessandra Basher

Based in Austin, Texas, Alessandra Basher is a Brazilian-born, naturalized American actress and stand-up comedian with Italian roots. She performed for a decade in Brazil, creating and touring her one-woman comedy show from 2006–2012 in São Paulo, and appeared on TV Globo’s hit soap opera Passione. Her stand-up blends sharp storytelling, cultural perspective, and unfiltered honesty, exploring family, identity, romance, and the chaos of reinvention. After a 12-year pause to focus on marriage and motherhood, she returned to comedy in English - proving that humor travels, even when grammar doesn’t.
