When I founded Alighieri in 2014, it was with the intention of building a universe showcasing the beauty of human vulnerability, a place where our stories, our imperfections, and our journeys could be transformed into talismans we carry with us. I’m so deeply appreciative of what my team and I have built and my wonderful Alighieri community.
Recently, I was drawn to this image of Georgia O’Keeffe, who famously travelled to the desert in search of space and solitude. So many artists, so many creatives honoured this powerful instinct, to step away in order to see more clearly. As spring equinox arrives- a moment of balance- I feel ready for a season of movement and travel. To seek light, landscapes and moments of wonder that spark creation.
I cannot wait to begin shaping these inspirations and, in time, to share new collections with you.” - RM

“Today marks the spring equinox, a gentle forward motion and turning of the season. Winter has been a time of reflection and hibernation for me, a period to rest. As the light returns and the days begin to stretch open again, I feel a renewed pull toward creativity and inspiration.
