I grew up with salt in my hair and sand permanently stuck in my car. The ocean has always felt more like home to me than any house ever could. Some of my earliest memories are of running barefoot down the beach at sunrise, my dad teaching me how to read the waves and telling me to respect the tide — because it’s powerful, even when it looks calm.
