Adrian McGrady

Adrian Robert McGrady, a native of upstate New York, began his musical career at Friendship Baptist Church, participating in both children's and adult choirs. Inspired by performances from Hubert Laws and James Galway, he selected the flute as his primary instrument. Mr. McGrady studied with Barry Crawford at SUNY Buffalo and Dr. Christine Moulton Fish at Mansfield University, where he was introduced to various flutes and solidified his commitment to musical excellence.

He has appeared in masterclasses and concerts nationwide, including a performance at Carnegie Hall with the Mansfield University Concert Wind Ensemble and with the National LGBTQIA+ Flute Ensemble at the 2025 World Pride Festival.
