With English being my third language, I had to learn a new set of mouth movements for the English language.

If you don't do this, then that's what creates a strong accent!

Most advice online is bad advice because it's not contextual to your situation.

That's why I always want to remind you that whenever anyone tries to tell you that they have a formula for success, remember it's a formula that helped them achieve success with their specific circumstances.

Don't be afraid to learn from others but take everything you hear with a bucket of salt! Find your own path to 10.

Oh yeah, and this isn't advice, just thoughts between friends. 😉

Repeat this process 10 times and watch your communication skills transform.

In my podcast with @thechrisdo I shared a simple 4 step formula to dramatically transform your communication skills. This is what I call the Record and Review process which is a powerful self-awareness tool that will help you see what communication behaviours are you exhibiting that aren't serving you.

STEPS:
1. Record a 5 minute video of you speaking (impromptu)

2. Auditory Review - Take notes on how you sound (your vocal image)

3. Visual Review - Take notes on how you look (your visual image)

4. Transcribe - Take notes on your use of language
