Infant Loss Remembrance Day, we honor the
precious souls who may not be here in body but
remain forever in our hearts. At 7 PM in your time
Zone, let's light a candle to remember our babies-the
ones we held briefly or only in our dreams. These
souls came to us with purpose, knowing their journey
before we did. They came to guide us, to shift our
paths, and to deepen our lives with their love.
To every parent walking this path, please know you
are held and seen. For those who have faced the
unimaginable decision to end a pregnancy-whether
it was to save your own life, because your baby's
journey would not continue, or both-I hold you
especially close. As someone who has walked this
road and carries that ache, Il understand how isolating
and heavy it can feel. You don't have to carry this
alone.
Each of these souls, no matter how briefly they
touched our lives, leaves a lasting imprint. I believe
they come to us for a reason, offering their love, even
if only fora moment. They guide us in ways we may
never fully understand. As Rumi so beautifully said,
"the wound is the place where the light enters you."
Their love becomes our light, urging us to live with
greater compassion and purpose.
Tonight, as we remember, let us carry their love
forward. In the glow of our candles, let's honor the
gifts they brought to our lives. Though their timne with
us was brief, their impact is everlasting.
