Plant your feet flat on the ground slightly wider than shoulder width apart. Bend over as if you are about to deadlift. Grab the weight and pull your elbows towards the ceiling without moving your shoulders. As you perform more reps, make sure to NOT use momentum to get the weight up, this is called a cheat row. Let me know if you have any questions.

• skull crushers
• seated hammer curls
• reverse cable curls
• close grip bench press
• cable 21’s
Let me know if you try any of these!

Does this sound familiar?
You want to get back into the gym so you look up some workout online and are excited to do it, but it leaves you sore for 3 or more days, making it near impossible to workout again within the same week.
Start off easy! I don’t murder myself in the gym, but the fact that I go 6 days a week means I don’t have to! One bad workout, no problem... the next day will make up for it. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and your dream body won’t be either.

A couple people have asked me to do a post dedicated to bent over rows. They are a great exercise for building a thicker back, but they have to be done correctly. Here’s how:

Arms. When I first started working out, growing my arms was one of my primary goals, because everyone wants big arms... right? But endless sets of bicep curls are not the way to get them. I only do one arm exercise every couple days. The secret to growing your arms is variety. Here are a few exercises that not many beginners use that you can use to holistically destroy those arms!

While killing yourself in the gym by going to total exhaustion may work for some, I’ve found it to be horribly unsustainable.
