On Jan 15, 2020 I wrote a doc titled “Goals for my 20s Decade.”
The first two items were:
- Finish 2 years at my consulting job
- Make the Forbes 30U30 list
Only one of those came true…
The only photo the three of us have together was unanimously declared “awful” by our significant others, so until we get a new one, my co-founders agreed a solo shot was better for Instagram.
Grateful for everyone in our corner and the entire @getplatter team for helping make this a reality.
A reminder that you can just do things.

This last year of building @getplatter has been a full-on sprint. When you’re obsessed with what you’re building, it can consume every corner of your life.
But here’s what I’ve learned: creating time and space to disconnect, reflect, and recharge isn’t a weakness, it’s a superpower. People think taking time off is the anti-founder move, but I actually think it makes you a better operator.
