IBM could "easily" replace 7,800 jobs with artificial intelligence (AI) and automation, its CEO Arvind Krishna has said. He told Bloomberg that the company expects to pause hiring for roles that could be replaced with AI in the coming years. Hiring in back-office roles such as human resources will be suspended or slowed, Krishna further said.
