A former student of mine would always draw things in his sketch just as a hobby. Sort of therapeutic for him. He said Dwayne one day I'm going draw some pics of you. He ended up graduating and I never got my pic €. Which is fine he's a college kid just living his life. Two days ago he sends me the first pic and said "sorry it took so long but I'm a man of my word and here's your pic." This is so dope for a number of reasons but the most important reason is, he followed through on his word and got it done!

The trainer to ball player relationship goes far beyond skill development on the court for me. I care about these kids more than they will ever know. To me it doesn't matter where your basketball journey takes you as long you have fun along the way. I just hope I was able to have a an impact on you in some form or fashion.
