Comedian DeShawn “Ala Bama” Frazier is not only a comedian but producer, writer, actor, speaker, coach, and a bridge. He always had a warm heart for laughter and advocacy. Comedian Ala Bama embodied the spirit of growing up with strong southern roots and learned early that there's humor in everything. Raised in a small town and known as "The Black NASCAR Fan," he knew he would be primed and ready to make people laugh. He began to explore stand-up comedy in 2001 in Baltimore, MD. He has since embarked on a journey that has given him an opportunity to work with some of the best comedians in the industry. Ala Bama has been embraced by legends such as Dick Gregory, Paul Mooney, Robert Townsend.
