44Not because my parents were monsters.
Not because I blame anyone.
But because emotional immaturity doesn’t always look loud.
Sometimes it looks like defensiveness.
Shutting down.
Overreacting.
Struggling to receive love.
And if we don’t grow, we pass it on.
Scripture is clear:
“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” — Ephesians 6:4
You can’t disciple what you won’t develop.
You can’t give emotional security if you’re still living in emotional survival.
This month in WomensBookClub.com we’re reading Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents because healing is not optional anymore.
I refuse for my children to need recovery from me.
I refuse to normalize what God is calling me to mature out of.
I refuse to let “that’s just how I am” be the legacy.
We’re not blaming.
We’re building.
Emotionally healthy marriages.
Secure children.
Regulated mothers.

I come against anything that is not of you looking to destroy marriages and the children who come from them. Allow spiritual wisdom and maturity to flow through their words and their hearts. Give couples the strategies to die to their ego and fight the enemies plan for destruction and not eachother. Ministry is to come out of two who agree and love in the direction of your glory! May love and respect overflow to our households, our communities and the church in us! In Jesus name AMEN!
