Are you bringing the chaos of your day into your food choices? Do you allow yourself transition time between work/kids and eating? Or do you drag the frustrations of the day straight into your food? If it’s the latter, pause before you react. Ask yourself how you are actually feeling, even if it can be challenging to acknowledge it. If you’re frustrated, uncertain, sad, tired or simply just burnt out give your mind what it really needs; space. Space to process. Writing, breathing, talking or moving your body can help process and clear the energy. After that, you’ll make a wiser and less reactionary food choice.
