I’m incredibly proud and honored to be included in the @time 2025 list of The Closers. @time Closers’ list highlights Black leaders working to close the racial equity gap, and it’s a privilege to be among those working for change.

I've seen firsthand how beauty and makeup connect us worldwide, and @danessamyricksbeauty will continue to create a safe space where everyone is welcome, cherished, and seen.

What a honor to be apart of @incmagazine 500 Female Founder Honorees of 2025.

I'm feeling so abundant and grateful to be included in a list of phenomenal women who are shaping and changing the world .
When my journey first began , I had no idea how far this dream would take me.
I’ve always believed that beauty has power to connect hearts and minds around the world and @danessamyricksbeauty is proof that a world where everyone is accepted and celebrated can exist.
Building DMB has been and continues to be such a magical ride .
While every step of the journey hasn’t been easy , it is always worth it because the community we serve and the legacy we are building.
