Wishing I'd healed my inner child years ago. I'm now embracing a child I trapped unhealed within me by taking on my demons putting the bottle down. Sharing my story in my poetry and finding my way to the light. In doing so I have set him free and put out the flames others set that I myself then fuelled by pouring whisky on fire to forget.
