Supporting Di Through Her Cancer Battle
Our family has recently received devastating news
Di Thompson has been diagnosed with endometrial cancer. Under normal circumstances, this type of cancer is often treated with surgery and can have a relatively positive outlook. Unfortunately, Di's situation is far more complicated.
Due to the long-term effects of Antiphospholipid Syndrome and an ascending aortic aneurysm, the risks associated with surgery are simply too great. The treatment options available to her are therefore limited to targeted radiation therapy and chemotherapy.
This treatment journey will be long, physically demanding, and incredibly challenging.
