It’s not possible to pinpoint the exact moment when a “friendship” or “connection with another” is formed. Over time it develops, like over filling a cup with water, at some point it runs over. Similarly, in a series of kind acts, there is that last one that makes the heart run over. This is the point friendships form, where one’s love for another, platonic or otherwise, continues from. So long as it’s reciprocal, it’s where you learn more deeply about each other: the good, the bad, the ugly, the raw points & the triggers.
However, as relationships progress, too often, we expect a others to know what we’re feeling & what type of comfort we need. This is unrealistic. So, it’s important to learn to identify these sensitivities in ourselves & in each other, to make an effort to not miss them, so that we don’t reach the point of making others feel “rejected” or vice versa.
Each of us have emotional triggers that cause our innate fear of abandonment to spike - our “raw spots.” People can [un]intentionally hurt each other’s emotional triggers. Being sensitive to a loss of affection & criticism can be excruciating, making one feel left out & inadequate.
In these moments, have courage to trust your intuition in order that

Unavoidably, we all experience difficult situations at some point in life. You could: lose your job, find out that your partner has cheated, face divorce, experience serious illness or financial hardship, all of which can trigger anger, revengeful thoughts, make one discouraged & focus on regret or make you lose hope. That pain will come. Let it. Cry it out. Vent it out. Bleed it out. Then ask it to LEAVE. Never allow it to accumulate & make you “feel heavy”. We aren’t meant to be broken forever because we aren’t meant to punish ourselves like that & because life is more amazing than just being “stuck in that”.
If you frame any -IVE emotion as “energy” & re-channel that energy as “fuel” into other pursuits, you can use bad events as an opportunity to MOVE ON to find a better job or partner, change for better health & fitness regimes, find alternative revenue streams or develop valuable new skills to start your own business….
Hence, your reaction to a setback is what dictates exactly how much and how long you suffer. It is CRITICAL to UNDERSTAND that it is in YOUR power to choose how YOU respond, b/c YOU do have a choice to decide, which will affect whether you overcome a bad situation or succumb to it. This means, that b/c we have options, it is actually possible to turn a bad

Being lied to isn’t nice. Even if we don’t have proof of the lie, we all intuitively know when something isn’t right. The key at that point, is whether you settle for what you’re told, or you question the “gap between” what your intuition tells you vs. what you’re presented with. The delta to bridging that gap, is overcoming your FEAR of challenging the status quo. It can be scary to take on a person you were in love with, a figurehead in a position of power, people who you trusted that have gone behind your back or an authority etc, etc….
We are “caged” by defining ourselves to social norms & societies rules of what we’re allowed to pushback on, trying to be nice, or preserve our existence according to external rules rather than listening to that voice inside of us. But we MUST be BRAVE and listen to that voice that is loud but drowned out by the ever growing fear of the unknown, or of questioning something that doesn’t feel right.
Even if it’s not words that come to mind but rather a feeling encouraging you to listen more to your inner voice, be guided by that intuition. The feeling that you must “connect the dots” yourself rather than being told how they should be connected.
IF you take that leap, FACE THAT FEAR and ASK THOSE QUESTIONS, you’ll be surprised at how LIBERATED you’ll feel on-the-follow. You will feel that you’ve

Our primal instinct is to connect with other human beings, to feel a sense of belonging. To be rejected, is equivalent to physical pain in excruciating equal order to the mind —— scientific research
