Every smile tells a deeper narrative.

As a dentist, I’m privileged to understand both the art of creating these smiles and the science that forms their foundation. But beyond the clinic, I have been driven by a desire to deepen the connection between my professional endeavors and personal growth.

Year after year.. I have continued to journal. I have developed and live by what I call “Core Anchors of Resilience,” principles that make every challenge a bit more manageable and every success a bit sweeter, serving as a compass that navigates me through the complexities of life and work:

Joy: Smile & be the light in someone else’s day.

Gratitude: Allow it to serve as your anchor through life’s storms.

years for my DMD + 3 years of pageantry.

I’ve always believed in optimal living and pushing myself to constantly be the best version of me. Versions of us unlock every year if we allow it to - We need to always continue to live intentionally and with a vision and lead with what you are passionate about. For me personally, from challenging myself with these competitions amidst a crazy dentist schedule, I also indulged in podcasts, reading, prioritizing my health + fitness, & absorbing information and methodologies for self improvement. This led me to optimize the woman I am now today and welcomed in meaningful connections along the way.

Throughout my journey, I am proud to have impacted many young women to work hard and strive to be multifaceted. Little baby Melanie would be very proud of what she has accomplished. I do it for me, but I also share it with you to get this message out there… you CAN successfully achieve absolutely whatever you put your focus and energy fully into. 🫶
