My name is DrXer28, I'm 19, and I'm a Phonk maker. I'm doing this genre because I'm stuck in 2020: that's when I first discovered this genre and realized that I wanted to create something similar. Not for fame or money, just because it got you hooked.

I'm not chasing modern Funk and I'm not trying to copy what's in the top right now. Instead, I study the roots of folk music: I listen to the classics of the genre, analyze the structure of tracks, and search for soul niches. My approach is a mixture of respect for traditions and a desire to add something of my own.

This project is my sound diary. Here I share not only the finished tracks, but also the process: ideas, mistakes, discoveries.
