Im still flat, no pump, and hardly any carbs and the hallway is so tiny all my poses looked scrunched and I felt like I was trying to get the best light angle rather than opening up like I will be on stage.
I just wanted to give everyone an update and thank you for the continued support and encouraging messages. I’m still trying to catch up on everyone’s posts but it may have to wait until this is all over. I hope everyone has a great weekend 🙌🏽🙌🏽💪🏽💯❤️

Again I want to thank everyone who has been following and actually paying attention to the progress over the last year (and longer). I’ll map out the journey in another post but for now let’s talk about my stage photos.
I’m definitely better than I was 2 years ago at Nationals. The noticeable improvements are lat thickness, leg size (huge increase), some glutes and hams, and overall AB thickness (not core).
My front double bicep pose is pretty much the same. I have noticed my left arm seems to drop down for some odd reason it’s something I need to start focusing on. Core activation is much easier since I’ve been working abs in the offseason which I never did before. Still needs some work.
Back double bicep is much improved as well, at least in the overall lat development. The area below the horizontal lines of the top of the lats and the flowery looking traps on the middle is REALLY long. I have very low origins on my lats and it has always given me a stretched out look. These photos do me no justice on the hard work I’ve been putting in though, but I think I may need to tweak my posing a bit to have the middle lats pop better. I’ll figure this out and work on it since I believe this is still a weak area.
My side chest is money. Great posture, great flexing throughout the core, and I brought both arms in closer to my body which I didn’t do before. I need t

I took first place in Masters 35+, Masters 40+, and Masters 45+. Yes, your boy is 45.
I took second in the Open. This was all Classic Physique and I weighed in at 187. I am now officially qualified for Nationals but particularly Masters USAs will be the show I compete at in November; like 8.5 months to go.
I’m already back at it as you see. Just competed 24 hours earlier and already back home, had my typical breakfast waffle, and taking advantage of the rebound by working legs.
These are pics of my post-show meals from BJs, which was Prime Rib (kinda shitty), ribs (amazing) a bunch of fries, Jambalaya (pretty good but salty) and 2 Pazookies: salted caramel and butterfinger. I only gained a few pounds 🤷🏽♂️. I left the hotel room at 189 this morning which means for the first time actually leaving at the same weight I arrived at (typically I gain like 7-10 pounds of bloat).
I have to thank God for guiding me and protecting me through this journey. I’ve had a long scary setback that nobody knows about but one day I’ll get into my journey. For now I have nothing but love and appreciation for just being alive.
I have to thank my parents who have stood by me through my 7th show. Some of you know this but they own and operate The Hidden Cafe in Camarillo. It’s a little easier to prep on season and off when you get to have egg white omelettes, waffles, and chicken every day , sometimes twice

Just after check in, still carbing up no pump, I made my weight at 187. I was on the cusp of the next weight class which would be 7 more pounds so were gonna have a very interesting and deliberate offseason 😏.
