Wipro's HR head Saurabh Govil said that 92% of its campus hires chose to join at a lower salary for early onboarding. Wipro hired people at ₹3.5 LPA and offered them ₹6.5 LPA on completing Wipro's test. "We realised...we didn't have a requirement...at that point...for such resources...We were onboarding people at lower band...So we gave them a choice," he added.
