576Being on @abc7chicago spreading a focus on mental health has been life-changing for me. We may not be able to change the world for everyone, but if we can change just one personβs life, we are doing something so meaningful.
If weβre going to indulge in drugs, alcohol, and/or nightlife, it should be done in moderation, we must have balance, and we must be in control. Otherwise itβs a recipe for disaster.
I know what I do for a living can be harmful, but I implore people to not come to my parties unless we are in a good place mentally & physically. It should be for recreation only IMO, not therapy.
There are many things that I believe are important to know/have to lead a happy, fulfilled, and successful life while still indulging in our vices that canβt be explained in a caption.
Living to me isnβt giving up everything that makes us feel alive. But donβt dance with the devil if we donβt know how to lead. Loving ourselves unconditionally, exercising and eating healthy the rest of the time will help create balance.
Communication. I appreciate the many that have communicated their situation to me and continue to speak up. Expressing ourselves fully and hearing other perspectives is the first step to a better place. The countless people I help & inspire motivate me to do this forever! L
