While Islam encourages forgiveness and reconnecting with those who may not be active in keeping ties, it doesn’t mean you have to accept ongoing mistreatment.

It’s about balance. Being able to maintain respect and kindness while still setting boundaries that protects our well-being.

This video is a reminder to myself because it’s sooo difficult to maintain family ties with people you are angry with. But what should be more difficult, is displeasing our creator.
