We’ve been making the Trail Tank for a looong time now and it’s garnered a bit of a cult following. Sometimes I forget about how well loved it is, but we recently shared a super quick pre-order to use up roll ends and gauge demand and wooweee. There was a lot of Trail Tank love (even after all of these years).

I often wear my Trail Tank in the winter as a bra-free base layer, but we got to thinking, wouldn’t it be nice to have a cold weather companion to the tank?

So we got to work on sampling the Trail Long Sleeve. First we made it in our custom bamboo like the tank. But for a slim fitting long sleeve, the fabric was too thick and compressive to fit the way we wanted. Next we tried it in our cozy lyocell blend… and BAM. It was perfect.

Why you may love the new Trail Long Sleeve:
-it is reversible! It has a V neck side and a higher boat neck side. Both are lovely and versatile.
-it’s a slim fit but in a soft stretchy fabric making it a piece you’ll constantly reach for
-it’s full length but still easy to tuck into higher pants
-it’s a core wardrobe necessity that goes with SO many things

The more I ruminate on these three pieces, the more k am reminded that basics are not flashy or romantic. But they are so very valuable. They are the pieces that make getting dressed easy because they’re

The last tee in our Better than Basics launch is a goodie: The Trail Long Sleeve!
