normalize blocking and unfriending toxic people and never talk to them again to protect your peace of mind. actually it is better to ghost and never say one word than to offer an explanation and attempt to provide closure. the only closure you need is knowledge that this friend is not good for you. when it gets to that point in a friendship, just back away and fade out. with toxic people, there is no way to end the friendship gracefully or peacefully. setting healthy boundaries for yourself is looking at it from your perspective. and that is not selfish, that is healthy especially when dealing with a toxic people
