Cryptocurrency exchange Binance and its CEO Changpeng Zhao have been sued by US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) for regulatory violations. Binance "offered & executed commodity derivatives transactions on behalf of US persons" in violation of US laws, CFTC said. "This should be a warning...that the CFTC won't tolerate wilful avoidance of US law," CFTC Chairman Rostin Behnam said.
