Something I want to share with you guys that I wish I would’ve shared with myself:
You cannot have a success story without failure…
This is something I wish I knew when I was younger. Instead, I was too busy taking life for granted. The person in the left picture was a depressed, broken down, failing young man who only lived for the weekends.
I was failing in school, relationships, my diet, and most importantly, in seeing a clear vision of life’s true meaning for me. I was a failure, but not because of others – I realized, after looking in the mirror time and time again, that I was the problem.
I had two choices: (1) Stay in failure or (2) move towards success. The hardest pill to swallow was my ego. I had to throw it away like it didn’t even exist. I told myself, ‘You are the reason for your own failures. It’s YOUR life, so YOU have to take control of it or it’s gonna take control of you.’
I won’t say it was easy, but over time, things started to look up. I passed in school, relationships improved, my diet became healthier, and, most importantly, I started to see a clear vision of life’s true meaning for me.
I’m not ashamed to admit that failure is part of my life’s transformation because it is not what truly defines me. What I do to take action is what defines me, and I choose success. 🙌🏻 #OwnYourJourney #EmbraceFailure #ChooseSucces #motivation #transformation
