The fight for recovery, for growth, for overall healing is still a daily struggle. I still have my triggers. Flashbacks. Nightmares of what once was and what could have been. But truly, I am so grateful for how far I've come. I am nearly two years free of alcohol and cigarettes.

And I am proud of you, whatever chapter you may be on in your journey, no matter how many steps you have taken. I see you. You are seen, honey; your trying, your desperation is not in vain. May light touch you wherever you decide to walk.
