Jai Montag (they/them) is an LGBTQ+ author whose work explores survival, identity, and chosen family through the lens of lived experience.
While navigating homelessness as a queer adult, Jai began writing to document the intersections of housing insecurity, mental health, and visibility within the LGBTQ+ community. Their work centers voices too often erased, offering honesty without spectacle and resilience without cliché.
Through essays, poetry, fiction, and public engagement, Jai advocates for dignity, safety, and belonging—especially for queer people living at the margins.
