The possibilities in the world are endless. Who could have imagined that I would meet an American man in the city where I was born and raised during his two-day trip (and his first time in Istanbul and Turkey) and travel to 22 cities together, eventually getting married in 16 months?
I knew that Jason would be my husband, my life partner who I could share both good and bad days with (in our first date). How did I know? After we ended the 4,5 hours face-time (our first date), I couldn’t even tie my shoes because I felt like I was intoxicated. Have you ever experienced this “drunk in love” moment?

The secret? First, I worked on myself (with a therapist) to understand myself better. I invested in my personal growth and dedicated all my money, time, and energy to healing my old patterns. As soon as I began to find peace within myself, my choices in men transformed. I eliminated most of my friends (even those from childhood) who no longer served me.
