1. It’s the biggest holiday in Asian culture & signifies the beginning of spring & the new year based on the lunar calendar
2. Lucky money is given in red envelopes to children as a symbol of prosperity, luck & blessings
3. Red & gold decorations are used to symbolize happiness, luck + joy (red) and wealth, success, + abundance (gold)
We had so much fun today. Hung made homemade pho, we went to the park and took pictures, lucky money was exchanged and family and friends came to celebrate!
