8Joey hasn’t missed a daily check in since we started prep for this 16 months ago, he’s listened and executed every step of the way and this weekend he got his reward.
I’ve been fortunate enough to be given this man’s trust first as his employer, friend and then coach and now he’s become the person on this planet who knows me better than anyone, someone I trust more than anyone and someone I respect more than he probably even knows.
We have a pretty unique relationship and I guess the simplest way of summing it up is by saying my biggest fear in life is letting him down or disappointing him and my biggest sense of pride is seeing him grow and evolve daily into the true role model and leader that he is today!
