True story:
In 2008 my dad called my uncle who lives in Israel and told him the following
“There’s a house next door to mine that’s on the market right now for $300k, trust me buy this property and it’ll be worth double in a few years”
My uncle didn’t buy it, but that house just sold for $2M in 2023.
