Growing up I had a @nasa poster of The Discovery space shuttle hanging above my bed. My infatuation with astronomy has been a recurring theme in my work ever since.
Last summer I donated a painting to NASA’s space camp silent auction. This morning I woke up to an email from the @iss communications director with photos of my painting in the space station cupola overlooking the earth.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have a lot of amazing experiences as an artist but this is #1. The 9 year old Jojo would never believe this! Special thank you to @astrojaws #🚀 #nasa #iss
