Joshua David

I’m Joshua David, filmmaker & storytelling artist currently based in the Washington DC area. I’m a two-time HBCU alum of North Carolina A&T State and Howard University where I earned a bachelors degree in mass media production and a masters of fine arts in film. I’ve been an andragogical educator for four years, cultivating the next generation of storytellers.
I’ve had a cinematic imagination since the books and action figures that defined my childhood, and I’m blessed to bring it to life through the vehicle of film from narrative shorts to documentaries to comedy sketches and more. My focus is on telling stories that provoke introspection and conversation toward elevated perspective and empathetic compassion.
