307055 years ago , I became a single mom with 1k to my name . I got so caught up in my situation , living life how I wanted , on the road , traveling & just never leaving my “bd” side cause I was so wrapped up in his happiness & controlling ways , I lost myself & honestly all the money I had saved up until 25y/o .
I moved back to Houston into a 1br apartment in my LITTLE sisters name , honestly not even knowing how ima afford the rent. I was too prideful to ask my parents & Jaces “father” has never been present. I worked 4 jobs (bartended , waitressed , personal trained & babies r us) my entire pregnancy , would even pass out at work but was determined to bust my ass for my unborn son .
Fast forward 5 years later I just closed on a 560k home & upgraded @shapedbykaylag.studio in the same week !
Y’all , I have been tired, depressed, sad , emotional , happy , scared, drained , excited & everything in between. But I gave my son something that NO-ONE or nothing can take from him, he has security & stability & a mommy that loves him more than anything in the world & im so fckn proud of myself 🤍 this has been the most difficult yet most rewarding process ever
I never really talk about me on here . I Joce & joke & post the craziest shit. But honestly, I just wanted to post this in the hopes of motivating someone else in believing you can do whatever tf u want to , your situation nor your p
