We are SOOO late announcing as we don’t get on social these days and life with 3 has been NON-STOP since labor began on winter solstice! We brought her home early Xmas eve and Soraya & Mateo proclaimed she was the best Christmas gift ever! TRUTH! She has brought so much bliss & awe, everyday! We have also been quite busy in general battling illnesses! I lost count at 20. (Not joking!)

It would appear Soraya being a “Covid Baby” combined with us homeschooling Mateo in 2021 meant all the germs got us this winter like many other families! Not easy with a newborn. But I’m happy to say that we got through each illness with flying colors & have created some powerful immune systems!
.
As most friends & family know, Venus was diagnosed with Down’s Syndrome at our 11th week of pregnancy so we had a long time to prep for what this means for her & us. Fortunately, the many health scares and concerns we were prepared for have turned out to be of no consequence to our little goddess. As my second Vbac and Mermaid Babe (born in the sac), she already seemed miraculous and she is a champion nurser, rolls over constantly, is enjoying solids & is babbling like it’s her job.
