Travis and Kia met in 1994 at Gaffney’s popular nightclub, Nine-Thirteen. Kia was 18 and enjoying a night out, while Travis, 23, was visiting from out of town. They dated for two years before life took them in different directions.
After years apart and raising families of their own, they lost touch—until October 31, 2021, when Travis found Kia’s number and called after 15 years of silence. The moment she heard his voice, she knew. They reunited the next day and have been inseparable ever since.
