known professionally as Kid Rock, American musician, singer, rapper, and songwriter. After establishing myself in the Detroit hip-hop scene, i broke through into mainstream success with a rap rock sound before shifting my performance style to country rock. A self-taught musician, i can play every instrument in my backing band and has overseen production on all but two of my albums.[1]
