After more than a decade of competing at the highest level in CrossFit, it’s time to close this chapter. This decision has been on my heart for a while, and as my mom always told me… Follow your heart. 💫 Deep down, I know this is the right moment.
CrossFit has shaped me in ways I never imagined from the girl who just wanted to get stronger for basketball to standing on the biggest stage in the sport. I’ve experienced the highest highs and the toughest lows, but through it all, I’ve grown into the athlete and person I am today.
To my coaches, teammates, and every single person who has supported me along this journey… Thank you. 🫶 Your support throughout has been nothing short of incredible.
While I may be stepping away from competing, I’m not stepping away from the sport. This is the beginning of a new chapter, and I’m excited to dedicate more of my time to my passion of helping others grow stronger.
I put my full heart into a video sharing my journey, my decision, and what’s next. You can watch it now on my YouTube channel or link in bio. A big thank you to @nwr_productions for capturing this video and helping me tell my story.
This isn’t goodbye, it’s just a new beginning. 🩵
Xo,

Now, I truly understand how they say it never really gets easier—you just learn to live with it. To anyone else missing a loved one, know that you’re not alone. Lean on those around you and keep their memory alive in everything you do. 🪽
After she passed, I found a journal she had been writing about her life, and I thought I’d share some of her lessons. My mom truly was the best. 🥹
1️⃣ Always forgive and move on. Life’s too short to stay mad at each other.
2️⃣ Always follow your instinct & heart. You might hesitate at first but usually you can make a good decision. Do what makes you happy.
3️⃣ Treat others how you would like to be treated. And respect yourself.
4️⃣ Life is hard already so surround yourself with good people who have the same dreams as you.
5️⃣ Don’t worry about the future—everything always falls into place.
6️⃣ Always put God & family first. Never forget that.
Forever my best friend and my guardian angel. 💕 I hope to one day be half as good of a mom as you were. 😇

One year since my mama passed away, and I can’t even put into words how much I miss her. 💔
