Over this last weekend, Beautiful Tragedy hit 100,00 streams on Spotify. This is a big deal for me personally. I can’t tell you how many TIMES I’ve wanted to quit music and say "fuck this", but here we are. This one hits a little different for me. I’m so thankful for the joy that this song, and ALLLL the experiences that came with it, has brought to our lives. If you’re reading this, and you needed a little sign today, here it is. Never give up on yourself and what you love. It may not be easy, but it will always be worth it. I used to celebrate personal milestones in silence. I always looked at them as things that were "supposed to happen" as a result of hard work, time, and effort. But the truth is, nothing is guaranteed. Not a fucking thing. This is an acknowledgement and thank you to everyone that has contributed to ME and Beautiful Tragedy. To every instrumentalist, writer, producer, engineer, THANK YOU. To every photographer and videographer, creative director/stylist, THANK YOU. For anyone that invested time, money, energy, into me and this moment, gave me advice when I needed it, THANK YOU.
