1 year ago today I made a decision that changed my life. I had a hysterectomy (ovaries stayed, shop closed).

Alex and I always thought we’d have one more baby. Sometimes life doesn’t follow the plan you pictured… and you learn to make peace with that.

It wasn’t an easy decision, but it was a necessary. Thank you Dr Santos 🫶🏼

And when I look at our three wild, beautiful little balagans, I’m reminded every day how lucky we are. 🤍

Here’s a reminder to unapologetically do something for yourself - That makes you happy! Before doing my mommy makeover with @drdevvdo - I put in the work to lose 26lbs in 1 year. Doing a mommy makeover was the best thing I did for myself! Also 100000% recommend @drdevvdo - BUT just bc I did it - doesn’t meant I don’t have to maintain it and still put in the work. I show up 4x a week to workout (before the family wakes up in the morning) + eat better + very active with the kids. Yes I still struggle with body dysmorphia (it doesn’t go away over njght and may be something I always struggle with) BUT I’m becoming more confident and on my way to being the best version of myself for me and my family. Do what makes YOU happy 🩷🖤
