My lonely girl in the desert,
I know that life is hard. I know you’re angry and feel alone, and the world judges and despises you. I know you do terrible things to survive. Sometimes you hate yourself for it and sometimes you blame the world.

But it won’t always be this way.
You can’t know it now, but there is goodness in the world. Love is real and trust is real, and you’ll find them both one day. You’re going to meet the person who shows it to you soon.

And those stars you look up at every night while you hope for something better…one day you’ll be among them! You’re going to leave this place behind, and find people who show you what family really means. They’ll see your value, give you knowledge and skill, count on you, accept and love you. And you’ll look back on Earth (which is round by the way…and called a planet…I know this doesn’t make sense to you yet) and realize you don’t have to be that girl you once were.
