In memory of Ariel Bibas and Eden Yerushalmi- two Israeli hostages that were brutally taken from us and the reason we decided to have a third child.
The truth is, after Noa was born we were done having kids. We had two healthy girls and lots of plans for our future; Traveling, new business ideas, saving money etc
Then October 7th happened and our whole world flipped upside down.
On the one year anniversary- I attended a memorial service and after hearing a father talk about his son who died on that day saving people’s lives I remember feeling so helpless. I asked myself
“what can I do?”
My inner self whispered “more Jewish babies”
A few days later, Tony FaceTimed me on his way home from work and I said to him “what do you think about having another baby”- we decided then and there that we would try and leave it up to Hashem. 2 months later on New Year’s Eve we got our positive test result.
On our way to my 12 week ultrasound appointment we found out the news about the Bibas family. It was devastating beyond words. I looked at Tony and said. What do you think about the name Arielle?
He nodded.
And why Eden as a middle name? The hostage family forum asked me to do a video to raise awareness about Eden Yerushalmi. A stunning 24 year old who was taken hostage from the Nova festival. I felt like I knew her. When the tragic news came out that Eden was killed in captivity I felt l

Parents of Jewish children! sign your kids up for self defense classes instead of telling them to lay low and hide who they are! Teach them how to protect themselves in this crazy world we live in! We are not Jews with trembling knees.
