After almost 5 years of dedication to this project, we finally have lace monitor eggs incubating from Astro and Pixel! This is one of the most exciting moments of my reptile keeping journey thus far, and I’m so stoked! Now for the 250ish day incubation, and God willing, we’ll have some baby bells phase lace monitors hatching out in April 2026 🙏

I wouldn’t be here without the guidance and friendships I’ve made along the way in the monitor community. Huge thanks to my good friends @simcontainer @cali_coldblood @waterloo_lace @mikes_monitors @_anreptiles_ @parkers_park_ and everyone else for your friendship and help along the way in figuring out these Varanid projects! So grateful for this community and the friends I’ve made in it.

Also incredibly grateful for the love and support from my amazing wife @jordysreptiles, and getting to experience the highlights of this hobby together!
